Free Chiropractic Marketing
I never thought I would see the day where the best type of chiropractic marketing is absolutely 100% free, but the day is finally here! With the invent of social media, the methods for acquiring new patients and monetizing your chiropractic practice have changed dramatically. It’s never been easier to connect with a highly targeted demographic of the population like you can on social networks like YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, etc. The insanely cool thing is, all barriers have been broken and you encounter little resistance because people that are on these social networks are there to meet other people…. plain and simple!
For the past three years I have used social media websites to get an incredible amount of new patients through the door and make multiple forms of other income, and my ability to help others do the same has skyrocketed. I thought I once knew what it meant to brand yourself, but I can safely say that those old notions have been thrown on their head thanks to the virtual community and Web 2.0. The old way of filling my community’s mailboxes with pamphlets and advertisements and going to my local chamber of commerce meeting is really a thing of the past! And thank goodness, because it didn’t do a whole lot of good in the old days either!
When you harness the power of social media sites like MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube, you are riding on the wave of the future. With minimal effort and expense, I was able to connect to thousands of people online in my community, and connections continue 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without my attention. Even while I sleep, Web 2.0 is doing the work of driving more people to my website and making me more money.
For example, if you were to view one of my MySpace profiles, you’d see that I’ve amassed over 6,400 friends, 3,000 of which are in my local community. When I send out bulletins or post videos, they are propagated to all of these people. There is no better way to initial viral marketing for your chiropractic practice than to begin using social media like I have done. Free chiropractic marketing at it’s best is what I call it.
You might still be spending thousands of dollars each month on advertisements, postcards, yellow page ads, newspaper drops, and still are seeing no results. This is a huge waste of time and money, and your business will suffer under the weight of all this unsuccessful advertising. When you cut the costs of advertising, you are reaping more of the profits of your practice. If you can bring more patients through your door with free advertising, you see the potential for profits is amazing. Over 90% of chiropractors are using the same old marketing tactics and suffering because of it. You don’t have to suffer the same fate.
When your old, safe marketing techniques are traded-in for fresh, innovative strategies, you’ll begin to see your chiropractic practice soar to new heights immediately. In today’s new market, those who can see the potential of modern technology and social media trends are holding the Holy Grail in their hands. Those who can’t see the potential of the virtual community will definitely suffer. Don’t trust people who say they “know it all” in terms of chiropractic marketing, but have no concept of the virtual advertising revolution going on.
Take a little action today and set-up your first YouTube account and begin to observe why it’s the 3rd most visited website in the world! People absolutely love videos and would rather watch something than read a book or a newspaper. This trend is very significant from a marketing perspective as you will see. Once you are on the homepage (YouTube.com), you will see a “sign-up” link in the upper right-hand corner.
Right after you’ve filled out the necessary information, you can start to look at other videos and comment on them. This way you can get a sense of what’s out there. Choose a list of favorites when you see something that strikes you. The sheer volume of footage will amaze you, and you start to understand the potential and power of Web 2.0.
